Puppet
James "Puppet" DiTullio
Puppet with Jim McClure, possibly the last time Puppet was at a race track
Here is the Email that Puppets brother Dick sent to puppets email list.
" As the saying goes, all good things must come to end, and so it is with that special man known by most simply as Puppet. There will never be another. He lived a full life here and now it is time for him to attend the next stage, whatever that might be for him. His transition was peaceful.
We're all going to miss him, but we've also all been very blessed in knowing such an unusual man. The original Hippy has had quite an impact and has always lived true to his character. And he was quite a character! One of the most remarkable things about him was his ability to keep his spirits high regardless of the circumstances he found himself in. That will be his legacy.
Puppet mastered art no matter what the medium was
We all know he was on the leading edge of dragbike chassis and made Elmers last few chassis as well as Larry/Steve McBrides, Jim McClures, Dryden/Hogan and Started Pollards Chassis. (that Gary Clark Finished)
He also wrote a series of articals on dragbike biulding and riding, that were published on www.stripbike.com.
Its strange that it is starting to rain here as I write this, because It has been said the when it thunders Elmer and Jim are having a match race , now when it is lightening we can say that Pup is striking an arc from his welder.
Rest in Peace Puppet.
